DingDong Trash (Korean: 딩동 쓰레기, Japanese: ゴミ ピンポン, hereinafter the "App") respects your privacy and complies with applicable laws and regulations. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, stored, and deleted, and the rights you have regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
By default, the App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The App also does not access sensitive device data like your contacts, precise location, or photos.
For core functionality, the App stores the following locally on your device:
Schedules, reminders, and app settings (including custom trash type names/icons): saved locally using on-device storage (Hive). This data is not transmitted to any server operated by the developer.
Notification schedules: registered with the device's local notification scheduler only (including time-zone-aware scheduling).
Backup/restore files: when you export or import a backup, the file is created/selected by you and stored where you choose. Sharing or storing backups in cloud services is under your control.
If ads are shown, advertising SDKs (e.g., Google Mobile Ads) may collect anonymous identifiers (Advertising ID) and device/app information. See "Third-Party Services" below for details.
2. How We Use Information
Provide trash-day reminders and schedule management
Persist user preferences (theme, language, etc.)
Provide local backup/export and restore/import features
Improve app stability and diagnose issues (in aggregate/anonymous form)
Display and measure advertisements (if applicable)
3. Data Retention and Deletion
App data (schedules/settings) is stored only on your device and is not sent to a server.
Deleting the App will remove stored data from your device.
If you export/share backup files, you are responsible for managing those files.
