Privacy Policy

• Required: item info (name/icon/color), log info (time, latitude/longitude, place label, tags), and app settings.
• Optional: attached photos (when the user selects or captures them), home/work reference locations, place radius settings, and valuable-item privacy settings.

• Help users recall where an item was left and revisit likely locations.
• Provide context-based search, valuables-safe views, and map route guidance.
• Maintain user preferences such as language, theme, place radius, and valuable-name masking.

• By default, app data is stored on the user device (local database + app documents directory).
• Attached photos are stored in app-managed storage under attachments/.
• Exported backup JSON files are stored only where the user chooses to save them.
• Data remains until the user deletes records/photos, clears all data, removes exported backups, or removes the app.

• Location permission: record place, center the map on current location, and provide route guidance.
• Camera/Photo permission: capture or attach clue photos.

• Current export and import use a JSON payload containing items, logs, settings, and photo_assets for readable attached photo files.
• During import, embedded photo assets are restored into app-managed attachment storage when possible.
• Backup file size can grow with attached photos, and unreadable or missing source files may be skipped so the rest of the backup remains usable.

• Map and route features may send required request data to Google Maps SDK, Geocoding services, Directions API, and Google Maps when you open an external route.
• The app may display ads through Google AdMob. During ad delivery, Google and its partners may process data such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
• Depending on region and consent settings, personalized or non-personalized ads may be shown.

• We do not sell your name, phone number, or email address to advertisers.

• Delete individual records, items, and attached photos.
• Clean unused photos or remove all attached photos while keeping records.
• Delete all records from app settings and remove exported backups you no longer want to keep.

We apply reasonable safeguards for data handling. However, risk can increase on compromised devices, for example a lost device or rooted/jailbroken environment.

The service is not intended for children under 14 without guardian involvement. If guardian consent is required in your jurisdiction, obtain it before use.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and revision date on this page.
